Hey everyone,

Hope you're all doing well! As some of you may know, September 25th, 2021 was the day we first opened Valence.

That was four years ago. Opening this server has changed my life - I like to think for the better. The thousands of people I've met. The thousands of hours poured into building and storytelling and meetings and craziness. The lessons learned along the way. The countless events and AGM moments that I'll treasure forever. And the lifelong friends I've met.

But today isn't about me - it's about all of you. Without you, Valence doesn't exist. Together, we've built something truly unique, truly extraordinary.

Over the past four years we've lived through so many stories. We've cheered for our dodgebolt teams, done a bajillion fishing quests, argued over laws and lore and magic and nonsense, and told stories of tragedy, victory, betrayal, love, and loss.

Sometimes we've broached serious topics and had incredibly intense moments, and other times we've laughed our way through an interaction so hard we've started to cry.

Either way, it's been all uniquely, well - Valence.

So thank you for being with us through all of it - the triumphs and tribulations, the late nights, the server crashes and outages (rare🤞), the crazy characters, and the countless moments we've shared together.

Whether you've been here with us for years or joined last week, thank you for playing. Here's to another year and many more to come!
