We’re excited to announce that our server will be moving to Minecraft Version 1.21.8 in the coming week! This update brings a lot of new content and backend improvements that will open the door to new features, mechanics, and more creative building options for the everyone!

The server will be fully offline for a few hours while we implement the update.
More detailed patch notes will be released alongside the server update. But here are some of the additions we plan to implement following the update!

Even after we migrate to 1.21.8, some features will release gradually as we develop and integrate them into gameplay. Here’s what you can look forward to at launch...

❓ Frequently Asked Questions ❓
👥 Can I still play if I don’t update immediately?
No. Once we move to 1.21.8, older clients will not be able to log in.
Make sure your launcher is updated before attempting to connect.
📦 Will my builds or inventory be affected?
No, All player data including inventories, builds, ender chests, will be unchanged.
🗄️ Will custom items, or mechanics be impacted?
Existing custom items and mechanics should remain functional. While it is possible that you run into issues post launch, we're doing our best to ensure this update goes smoothly!

🧩 Do I need to update my personal mods?
YES! However, MODS ARE NOT NEEDED TO PLAY ON THE SERVER
Most 1.21.1 versions will NOT work with 1.21.8. Make sure you:
- Update each active mod to a 1.21.8 version, or
- Temporarily disable them until compatible updates are available.
If you run into issues, start with a clean profile and re-add mods one at a time.
🚀 What is the "Star Pack", and will it be Updated?
The Star Pack is an optional performance mod bundle curated by our Development Manager, designed to improve FPS, chunk rendering, and general stability while playing on the server.
A newly updated version of the Star Pack will be published in the coming days. This should give you the chance to prepare ahead of time for the update!
👻 Will all 1.21.8 features be available immediately?
No, Certain things have been excluded for performance or continuity reasons. Mobs like the Creaking or the Happy Ghast won't be joining us immediately when the server is updated, but they might see additions later on in ways that better fit the server!
🧰 Will resource packs be affected?
Server-resource pack users may see a short-term visual glitch or item icon changes as assets update. If you use custom packs, you may need to refresh or update them once 1.21.8 is active.
