Apologies for the slight delay, mid-term season is now upon us in the great white north so I've had to take some time to prioritize!

Before we get into the fun bits, we’ve got some general workings we want to keep everyone in the loop on.

Developer Tickets

As discussed in the previous announcement, we now have a ticket system for troubleshooting more direct issues, rather than the more general approach of #tech-support. If you need to reach out to the management/developer team personally, please direct all your questions to @ModMail to ensure we can properly document and track your ticket!

Sewer Dungeon

The first of our primary dungeons was released this last weekend, with a mix of wins and learning opportunities. We've already taken note of what changes we'd like to make, but we'd like to open the door for your feedback to be heard! Please fill out the Google Form below, the survey is completely anonymous but will ask you to login to Google to ensure you're only able to complete the survey. I'm looking forward to working with you all to provide the best experience possible!

Our developers have been hard at work behind the scenes, here's a look at what changed this week!

[+] Added HeadDB for Support members, so expect some fancy new heads in the server builds!

[+] Cleaned up LuckPerms permissions levels

[+] Added right-click harvesting, for super easy crop collecting!

📜 STONE BAY PRESS 📜

The streets have been alive this week, with a market of gross earnings and gross rumors of evil in the sewers!

🗡️ Has the Sewer called for you? 🗡️

If not, that's okay - it's quite underground. The rumor mill has been abuzz since Danias of Mhede led a band of colonizers into the ancient archives - with many of the travelers never resurfacing. Stone Bay Press has been approached with comments of Lord Zethrian and the Order of the Black Rose defeating some sort of great evil that was leaching power from the sewer itself, but such claims cannot be substantiated. We'll leave it to the readers to decide - is it full of crap?

💸 Cu later! 💸

With the opening of the market we've seen unprecedented levels of trade in the city, with many travelling from afar to trade their riches for the local currency. Emeralds have begun to recover after a strong opening week, at the cost of Copper tanking in value. Bingzods remain strong at nearly 60 E/stack, with diamonds holding second in value at just under 3 E/stack.

💍 A Leap of Wraith! 💍

The union of Castellan Luan and Lord Zethrian was a cause for celebration early this week in the island community of Nyxis. A firsthand account approached the press regarding unseen alliances being forged by the wedlock after Blackstone's conquest later in the week, but further investigation confirmed that the accuser did not bring a gift to the wedding.

👑 Death of the Duke! 👑

Duke Peter Rothchester IV's body was found this weekend with nearly 50 stab wounds, and authorities suspect foul play. Allegations have been laid out against his trusted companion Geoffrey, which may grant reality to claims of an uncivil union between the two in March of last year. The late Duke's responsibilities have been passed onto the newly declared Duchess Estelle Bancroft of Farquaad, with Peter's legacy being held close to the hearts of Native Noses.

🛠️ He who Smelt it... 🛠️

The name Ivar Bronzechisel has Stone Bay blacksmiths making a bolt for the door with claims of armaments far beyond the quality of local exports, with ludicrous prices to match. Details are still unknown, but if he's truly capable of artisan Bingzod goods, they could be quite a steel!

💰 Care to place a bet? 💰

A Casino has been reported beneath the city, underground in both senses of the word. The construction of it curiously coincided with the market launch this week, despite no contractors being hired before. It's been said that it may be an alternative to trading in terms of gaining capital, as they tend to deal in alternative currencies, whatever that may mean.

Although this has only been the beginning, you inspire us day after day to keep pushing to make this server the best it can be. I hope you're all excited for Halloween, as we have some exciting things coming up!

This week I'd like to take some time to thank our Developers for all the work they've done in the last few weeks, I'm luckily in a position where I get to see all the amazing things they're doing in the background, but unfortunately most of their progress isn't in the public eye. I encourage you all to pass on your thanks if you see them around, but just make sure you do them a favor - Use the Ticket Bot where you can, and please refrain from DMing them about work, lord knows they have enough on their plate!
